About our founder
The founder and CEO of TACTIC, Fabian Maier, is an established expert with strong international and intercultural communication skills, seamlessly bridging European and Chinese markets - in English, Chinese and German.
Prior to the foundation of TACTIC, Mr. Maier has leveraged his expertise in project management, international marketing, and Europe-China intra-company collaboration to drive successful business development and marketing initiatives between German and Polish subsidiaries and their parent company in China.
Mr. Maier's experience ranges from leading five international exhibition participations in Germany and the USA as the project manager, to managing the commercial aspects of an China-Europe company acquisition project in the machine-building industry.
With more than seven years of working for and later extensive collaboration with Chinese headquarters across various company functions, Mr. Maier brings a profound understanding of Chinese business culture, work methods, and organizational hierarchies.
His frequent visits to China for both business and academic pursuits have further enriched his expertise, allowing him to seamlessly navigate the nuances of cross-cultural communication. During his previous role, he was responsible for preparing internal company reports, strategic presentations strategic presentations and providing high-level live translations in business meetings between senior management of the headquarters and the subsidiaries between Chinese and English, ensuring clear and effective communication at the highest organizational levels.
